Amaravati, Aug 16 (IANS) Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary.
The Governor said Vajpayee was a visionary statesman, an exceptional leader, and a true patriot whose wisdom, integrity, and compassionate leadership earned him the respect and admiration of the entire nation. His ideals of good governance, national unity, and inclusive development continue to inspire generations of people.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said in his message that former Prime Minister Vajpayee was a symbol of patriotism, farsightedness, and inclusivity.
“A great soul who dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation with the ethos of “Nation First.” The support he extended to the development of Andhra Pradesh will remain eternally etched in the hearts of the Telugu people. On the occasion of Vajpayee’s death anniversary, I pay my profound respects to the great leader,” he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also paid tributes to Vajpayee. He said Vajpayee was a statesman whose vision was far ahead of his time and whose dream was always a strong, confident, self-reliant and resurgent Bharat.
“He believed that a Nation must have the courage to dream big, the conviction to act boldly and the strength to stand tall in the world. His leadership laid the foundations for a stronger India, strengthening our national confidence, infrastructure, strategic capabilities and global standing. Today, as Bharat marches with greater confidence and emerges as a stronger and more self-reliant Nation, we can see the enduring power of that vision,” said the Deputy Chief Minister.
“A poet whose words touched millions. A statesman whose leadership shaped history. A visionary whose dreams continue to inspire Bharat’s journey. His life reminds us that great leaders do not merely shape their times. They shape the direction of generations to come,” Pawan Kalyan added.
