The annual symposium of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Australia Chapter was held recently at the Robertson Lecture Theatre at Murdoch University. The event focused on the theme “Rise up in the Value Chain,” highlighting advancements and initiatives in artificial intelligence.
The Consul General addressed the symposium, emphasizing how AI is driving India’s economic, technological, and innovation growth. Four diaspora experts, Atul Garg, Vikram Sareen, Jagpreet Walia, and Pankaj Petro, presented on various AI topics, including Australia’s AI initiatives, next-gen non-repudiation in a paperless world, modern systems for sustainable transformation, and preparing for the dark side of AI.
The symposium also featured addresses by the Mayor of City of Melville, Katy Mair, and Deputy Mayor of City of Canning, Amanda Spencer-Teo, who provided their insights on AI and its implications for the future.
