Ankita Lokhande remembers late father, says ‘love your parents when they are with you’

Mumbai, April 25 (IANS) Popular television actress Ankita Lokhande has remembered her late father, who passed away in 2023 after battling health issues, and said that she misses him in every single breath she takes.

Ankita took to her Instagram stories section, where she shared a throwback picture posing with her father Shashikant Lokhande. In the image, the actress is warmly embracing her late father as they posed for a picture.

“I miss u every single breathe I take!!,” wrote Ankita in the caption section.

The actress added: “Love u parents when they are with u otherwise trust me u will only have regrets afterwards.”

On the work front, Ankita and her husband Vicky Jain are currently seen in the new edition of “Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited,” which also featured Arjun Bijlani, Karan Kundrra, Elvish Yadav, Jannat Zubair, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Nia Sharma, Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel to name a few.

Ankita made her acting debut with the role of Archana Manav Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta, which featured late star Sushant Singh Rajput. The show was an adaptation of Tamil television series Thirumathi Selvam.

She was then seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, and Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur. She did two episodes for Ek Thhi Naayka.

The 41-year-old actress made her debut in films in n 2018 with the Kangana Ranaut-starrer “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, an epic drama based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai.

Ankita next starred in Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller film Baaghi 3 in 2020, the third part of the Baaghi trilogy, alongside Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.

Later in 2020, after Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, their show “Pavitra Rishtra” was rebroadcast. A series titled Pavitra Rishta – It’s Never too Late aired from September 2021 starring Ankita Lokhande reprising her role as Archana and Shaheer Sheikh as Manav.
