The government of India has invited applications for the Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) for the academic year 2025–26, aimed at supporting higher education for children of the Indian diaspora.
Eligible applicants have been advised that the last date for submission of duly filled-in application forms, in the prescribed format, is January 30, 2026. The scholarship programme is designed to provide financial assistance to meritorious diaspora students seeking to pursue undergraduate courses in India.
Completed applications can be submitted to the Consulate General of India, Perth. Applications may also be sent via email to hoc.perth@mea.gov.in, as per the guidelines issued.
Applicants are encouraged to ensure that all required documents are submitted within the stipulated deadline. The Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children continues to serve as an important initiative to strengthen educational links between India and its global diaspora.
