Melbourne, June 12 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)
A high-level delegation from Arunachal Pradesh, led by Minister for Agriculture and Allied Sectors Gabriel Denwang Wangsu, recently visited Melbourne to explore opportunities for collaboration with Victoria in the horticulture and dairy sectors.
The delegation was welcomed by Consul General of India in Melbourne, Dr Sushil Kumar, who discussed potential areas of cooperation between the two regions, particularly in agricultural development and allied fields. As part of the visit, the delegation toured the University of Melbourne, where discussions focused on partnerships in agri-technology, animal husbandry, veterinary sciences, and dairy sector development. The visit marks a step toward strengthening sub-national engagement between Indian states and Australian states, supporting knowledge exchange and joint initiatives in agriculture and food production.
