The ARVI School of Kuchipudi Dance celebrated its annual day with a showcase of classical dance performances, highlighting its commitment to preserving and promoting the Indian classical dance tradition in Queensland.
The event brought together students, parents and members of the community to celebrate the school’s journey from modest beginnings to becoming a well-established centre for Kuchipudi training.
The annual celebration featured performances by students of different age groups, reflecting their dedication and the school’s emphasis on artistic excellence and cultural education.
Special recognition was given to Arthi Jayaraj, founder of the ARVI School of Kuchipudi Dance, for her vision and sustained efforts in nurturing young talent and building a vibrant community around the classical dance form.
The programme also acknowledged the contribution of parents, teachers and volunteers in supporting the school’s growth and encouraging students to pursue excellence in the performing arts.
The annual day concluded with a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to preserving India’s rich cultural heritage through Kuchipudi while inspiring future generations of dancers.
