Sydney, June 24 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

The Australian Telangana State Association (ATSA) celebrated its much-anticipated ATSA Annual Day 2025 on June 22 at Bowman Hall, Blacktown, bringing together the Telugu-speaking community for an evening filled with cultural pride and artistic expression.

The event featured a dazzling array of songs, dance performances, and traditional showcases, offering audiences a glimpse into the rich heritage of Telangana. Among the distinguished guests was Dr Sailesh Kolanu, a prominent Indian cinema director, who attended as the Chief Guest, lending star power and encouragement to the performers.

In a message shared on social media, ATSA expressed gratitude to the community: “What a beautiful celebration. From our talented performers to our wonderful community coming together – every picture tells a story of culture, tradition, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who made this evening so special.”

Founded in 2006 by a group of friends in Sydney, ATSA has grown into a vibrant organisation dedicated to supporting the Telangana state and promoting its culture across Australia. Over the years, it has become a vital cultural bridge for the diaspora, fostering unity and preserving Telugu traditions through various events and initiatives.

The success of the 2025 Annual Day reaffirms ATSA’s enduring mission and the strong bond shared among Telangana-origin families and the wider Indian community in Australia.
