Melbourne, September 12 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)
A delegation from India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE),
led by Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development
and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, met with Andrew Giles,
Australia’s Minister for Skills and Training, to deliberate on strengthening collaboration
in skill development.
The discussions proposed strategic initiatives, including the formulation of a bilateral
skill recognition framework, development of joint vocational training programs, and the
facilitation of a skill exchange internship program.
The visit reflects MSDE’s commitment to building a workforce aligned to global markets
while also reinforcing the shared objective of India and Australia to prepare their young
populations for emerging opportunities in innovation, technology, and industry.
