The education team from the Australia India Institute recently concluded a productive visit to Bengaluru as part of the Tools for Teachers initiative—an India-Australia collaboration aimed at enhancing applied learning in secondary schools.
During the visit, the team engaged with key education and development partners, including the Sambhav Foundation, AMBA, DSERT Karnataka, Global Victoria, and the Australian Consulate-General in Bengaluru. The discussions focused on building teacher capacity and fostering practical learning outcomes for students.
The visit also sets the stage for a hybrid workshop scheduled for tomorrow, which will guide the co-design of a practical toolkit. This toolkit will include strategies, techniques, and best practices to support the ongoing professional development of teachers.
The initiative reflects the growing education ties between Australia and India, with a shared commitment to empowering educators and improving classroom learning experiences through international collaboration.
