The Australia India Institute’s India-based board members and academic Fellows recently gathered in New Delhi with CEO Lisa Singh to mark the five-year anniversary of the Australia-India comprehensive strategic partnership. The event took place at the Australian High Commission and brought together scholars and experts committed to advancing bilateral relations. Singh, who is also a former Australian Senator, led the gathering, reflecting on the achievements and future directions of the partnership.
In a Facebook post on June 5, the Institute stated: “We are always so thankful for the expertise and breadth of knowledge our experts bring to the Institute.”
The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, established in 2020, has become a cornerstone of growing cooperation between Australia and India across multiple sectors including education, defence, and trade.
