The Consulate in Perth recently hosted a roundtable discussion with key mining and minerals stakeholders from Western Australia, attended by a high-level Indian delegation led by V.L. Kantha Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Mines of the Indian government. The delegation, comprising senior officials from India’s Ministries of Mines, Coal and Steel, KABIL, GSI, and various public and private sector entities, engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing the critical mineral partnership between India and Australia.
The talks centered on boosting collaboration in mining, focusing on critical minerals to strengthen economic ties and pave the way for future cooperation between the two countries in the sector.
