Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) was held in Brisbane and Perth from July 28 to 31. Consul General of India in Brisbane Neetu Bhagotia attended the welcome reception of the Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD), reaffirming the importance of youth leadership in strengthening Australia-India relations.
According to the Consulate General of India in Brisbane, Bhagotia congratulated AIYD on completing 14 years as a flagship initiative in the Australia-India relationship and commended its contribution to fostering leadership, innovation and enduring people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The Consulate said this year’s dialogue has brought together 15 emerging leaders each from Australia and India to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills and deepen bilateral engagement.
According to the Consulate, AIYD has played an important role in nurturing the next generation of leaders committed to advancing the Australia-India partnership through collaboration, innovation and stronger community connections.
The annual dialogue provides a platform for young professionals and future leaders from both countries to discuss shared opportunities and challenges while building lasting networks that contribute to the growing Australia-India relationship.
