Bendigo kicks off Indian Film Festival with ‘Chandu Champion’ premiere

 The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 was officially launched with the Regional Rhapsody event in Bendigo on July 22. High Commissioner Gopal Baglay and Premier of Victoria Jacinta Allan were present for the debut screening of the film ‘Chandu Champion,’ which marked the beginning of this year’s festival.

The 15th edition of the IIFM will run from August 15 to August 24, 2024. Since its inception in 2010, the IFFM has become a significant global platform for showcasing the diversity and creativity of Indian cinema. The festival highlights a broad range of films, from regional language productions to Bollywood hits, offering a comprehensive view of Indian storytelling.

IFFM serves as a cultural hub for filmmakers, artists, and film enthusiasts worldwide, featuring a wide array of genres and themes that reflect India’s rich cinematic heritage.
