The Consulate General of India, Brisbane has announced that it will host the Namaste India Festival, a vibrant celebration of culture, colours, and community, aimed at bringing together members of the Indian diaspora and the wider community.
Scheduled to be held on January 25, 2026, the festival will showcase the richness and diversity of Indian culture through a series of workshops and interactive sessions. The programme is designed to highlight various aspects of Indian art, traditions, and cultural expressions, offering participants an engaging and immersive experience.
The event will take place at Level 12, 301 Coronation Drive, Milton, QLD 4064, and is expected to attract strong community participation.
Organisers said the festival reflects the Consulate’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange and strengthen community bonds through inclusive and participatory events celebrating India’s heritage.
