Brisbane Super Kings’ Firebirds celebrate emphatic victory in girls’ cricket competition

The BSK Firebirds, representing Brisbane Super Kings Cricket Club, made a strong statement in junior girls’ cricket with a decisive win over Toombul Stage 3. The team reached 3/132 before restricting their opponents to 8/19 in a commanding display of teamwork and discipline.

Young bowler Nistha Sharma produced one of the most notable performances of the season, claiming five wickets for just six runs in four overs. Her match-winning spell drew praise for its precision and maturity.

The Firebirds’ success was supported by consistent bowling contributions from Olivia Chiem and Hargurbibek Kaur, along with sharp fielding across the squad. A composed batting effort from the top order set up the strong result.

The club acknowledged the efforts of coaches, parents and volunteers who continue to back the development of girls’ cricket within the community. Parents are encouraged to consider the Firebirds program for young players interested in developing their skills and becoming part of a supportive sporting environment.
