Canberra celebrates Diwali with Chief Minister and AIBC leaders

In a moment of community pride and cross-cultural friendship, Swaroop Kaushik, President
of the ACT chapter of the Australia India Business Council, joined the Diwali reception
hosted by the ACT Chief Minister in Canberra last week.
The evening celebrated more than just lights and festive cheer. It reaffirmed the enduring
partnership between Australia and India across government, business and civil society. As
Diwali approaches, the message is clear: cultural connection and respectful dialogue are as
pivotal to community building as economic ties.
Mr Kaushik extended warm wishes to the Indian community, and expressed enthusiasm for
