The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at the High Commission of India in Canberra. The ceremony began with the High Commissioner hoisting India’s National Flag, followed by the reading of President Droupadi Murmu’s address to the nation.
The celebrations included vibrant cultural performances of patriotic songs, reflecting India’s rich heritage and uniting the community in shared pride.
