CGI Brisbane hosts Consular Camp on Gold Coast for Indian diaspora

Around 60 community members avail passport, OCI, and visa services

Brisbane, April 12 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

The Consulate General of India in Brisbane recently organised a Consular Camp on the Gold Coast in association with the Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC), providing essential services to members of the Indian diaspora.

The camp was attended by around 60 individuals who availed a range of consular services, including passport assistance, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) services, and visa-related support. These services were delivered by consular officers from CGI Brisbane as part of efforts to improve accessibility for the community.

The initiative aimed to bring consular services closer to residents on the Gold Coast, reducing the need for travel and ensuring timely assistance for various documentation requirements.

Such outreach programmes continue to play a key role in addressing the needs of the Indian diaspora and strengthening engagement between the Consulate and the community.
