A solidarity event for unity was held at Brisbane City Hall on 22 December, bringing together political and community leaders to affirm a shared commitment to peace. Premier David Crisafulli, Opposition Leader Steven Miles and Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner addressed attendees alongside diverse faith leaders, emphasising respect and harmony across communities.
The gathering was open to all, with safety measures in place, and highlighted Brisbane’s ongoing efforts to stand together against division and promote understanding during sensitive times.
