India’s Consul General in Perth attended a reception commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Independence Day, hosted by US Consul General Colleen Altstock.
According to the Consulate General of India in Perth, the event brought together members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives and community leaders to celebrate the milestone in American history and reaffirm the enduring ties between the United States and its international partners.
The reception provided an opportunity for diplomats and invited guests to interact and strengthen professional relationships while exchanging views on issues of mutual interest.
The Indian Consulate shared details of the Consul General’s participation on its official social media platforms, highlighting India’s continued engagement with the diplomatic community in Western Australia.
The post was also shared with the High Commission of India in Canberra and the Consulates General of India in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, reflecting the coordinated presence of India’s diplomatic missions across Australia.
The event formed part of the wider celebrations marking America250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
