In a heartwarming initiative aimed at honouring mothers and promoting environmental sustainability, Consul General Dr Sushil Kumar joined forces with Bwe Thay, Deputy Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, and local community members for a tree-planting event at the Centre for Oneness recently.
The event, organized by Sant Nirankari Mission, Australia, was part of the #Plant4Mother campaigns. These initiatives encourage individuals to plant trees in tribute to mothers, fostering a deeper connection between family, community, and nature.
The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from a diverse group of Melburnians, who together planted trees as a symbol of life, growth, and gratitude. The Consul General’s involvement highlighted the importance of community-driven efforts in promoting a greener and more sustainable future.
