Consul General Kajari Biswas paid a courtesy call on Governor of Western Australia, Christopher Dawson AC APM, marking an important step in advancing India–Western Australia relations.
The Governor warmly welcomed the Consul General to Perth and Western Australia, and the two discussed key priorities aligned with the state’s strategic pivot towards India.
During the meeting, Consul General Biswas outlined her vision for deepening India’s partnership with Australia’s largest state, which contributes 17.1% to the national GDP.
The discussion underscored the shared commitment to expanding cooperation in trade, investment, education, and innovation, reinforcing the growing importance of the India–Australia relationship.
