Consul General Neetu M. Bhagotia attends Bharatanatyam Arangetram in Brisbane

Consul General of India in Brisbane, Neetu M. Bhagotia, attended the Bharatanatyam Arangetram of students from the Lalithakalalaya School of Bharatanatyam, Brisbane.

Established in 2009 by acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and teacher Padmalakshmi Sriram, the renowned institution has been dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Indian classical dance in Queensland.

The Arangetram marked an important milestone for the students, showcasing years of rigorous training, discipline, and devotion to the timeless art form. The performances reflected the school’s strong emphasis on tradition, technique, and cultural depth.

The Consul General congratulated the young dancers, their guru, and the families for their commitment to sustaining Indian classical arts within the diaspora community.
