Federation University opens Melbourne City campus

Education remains a key pillar of the strengthening Australia-India partnership, with growing collaborations in higher education and skill development. In a step forward, Federation University officially inaugurated its Melbourne City Campus, with Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar recently attending the opening ceremony at the invitation of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Duncan Bentley.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Kumar highlighted the expanding ties between Indian and Australian educational institutions, emphasizing the role of such collaborations in knowledge sharing, research advancements, and workforce development.
The new campus will create more opportunities for students from both countries, offering programs tailored to the evolving demands of business, technology, and innovation sectors. This expansion further cements Victoria’s reputation as a global education hub while reinforcing India-Australia cooperation in academia and professional training.
