The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) hosted a special event recently to celebrate Neetu Bhagotia’s appointment as Brisbane’s first Consul General of India. The gathering also marked a fond farewell to Archana Singh, who has served as the Honorary Indian Consul General for over a decade.
The event provided a platform for FICQ’s member organisations to interact with Bhagotia and her team, engage in a productive Q&A session, and launch a new Diwali poster, highlighting the vibrant cultural ties between the two communities.
