The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ), in collaboration with member organizations including the Queensland Kannadigas Cultural & Sports Society Inc and the Association of Indian Muslims Queensland, recently hosted a mental health workshop that emphasized the importance of well-being within the community.
The event featured presentations by respected experts Prof. Soman Elangovan, Dr. Dipti McGowan, and Dr. Nayan Soni, who spoke on a range of mental health topics. They addressed emotional, psychological, and social aspects of well-being, offering the audience practical guidance on recognizing and managing mental health challenges.
