On 30 July, the Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) hosted the event “Women’s Wellbeing – Women who inspire” at Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
Archana Singh, Hon Consul of India, Brisbane and Cr Angela Owen – Councillor for Calamvale Ward, who opened the session, lent their generous support to the event while the Queensland Police Service representatives gave an insightful presentation.
One of the guest speakers, Cilna George, discussed Australian Indian Women and mental health while another guest speaker Latha Vikraman gave an interactive presentation on self-care and wellness. Pushpa Vaghela shared knowledge about the journey of effective leadership and business success whereas Megha Roy Basu showcased techniques to deal with stress.
