FICQ thanks community for blanket drive support

Brisbane, July 13 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Merciful Servants Au for their generous collaboration in supporting those facing hardship during the colder months.

In a message shared with the community, the FICQ team acknowledged that the success of the recent blanket distribution drive would not have been possible without the collective effort and goodwill of its member organisations and supporters. The initiative aimed to provide comfort to those in need and demonstrated the community’s enduring commitment to compassion and solidarity.

FICQ especially recognised the contributions of Bhartiya Samaj, the Gujarati Association of Queensland (GAQ), the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) Gold Coast Inc., the Goldcoast Sikh Association, Sargam Music Academy, and the North Queensland Hindu Community Inc. Their support and active participation were instrumental in making the distribution effort a success.

The Federation reaffirmed its commitment to working together with like-minded organisations to support meaningful causes and build a more inclusive and caring Queensland community.
