The 10th International Day of Yoga 2024 was celebrated by the High Commission Of India (HCI), Canberra, on June 22, at Hyatt Hotel, in Canberra which saw participation from yoga enthusiasts from local communities, members of diplomatic corps and Indian diaspora.
The High Commissioner of India Gopal Baglay addressed the gathering on the occasion. He stressed the need to adopt yoga practices in one’s life.
Yoga is an ancient physical, mental, and spiritual practice for healthy living. June 21 is celebrated throughout the world as the International Day of Yoga following its adoption by the United Nations in 2014.
