High Commissioner of India Nagesh Singh addressed the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA), National Office, on the theme India–Australia: A Consequential Partnership in the Indo-Pacific, highlighting the enduring bilateral relationship and the scope for closer cooperation on regional and global issues.
Singh discussed various aspects of India-Australia relations and outlined the way forward for the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The address was followed by an interactive session in which the High Commissioner fielded questions from the audience on challenges and opportunities for India and Australia to work together on issues of regional and global importance.
The discussion examined the broader strategic dimensions of the bilateral relationship and the opportunities for the two countries to deepen their engagement in the Indo-Pacific.
The event provided a platform for an exchange of views on the future direction of India-Australia relations and areas where the two countries could further converge on regional and international issues.
