Holi celebrations bring community together on the Gold Coast

Brisbane, March 7 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

Consul General Neetu Bhagotia attended the Holi festival on the Gold Coast organised by the Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC), joining members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India in celebrating the festival of colours.

The event was attended by several public representatives including Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs and International Student Attraction Hermann Vorster, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sam O’Connor, Federal MP Angie Bell, MP Mark Boothman, and Gold Coast City Councillor Joe Wilkinson.

A large gathering of members of the Indian community and friends of India attended the celebrations, which reflected the vibrant cultural spirit associated with Holi. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Consul General Bhagotia conveyed warm Holi greetings and appreciated the lively participation of the community in marking the occasion.
