India and Australia explore deeper ties in MSME sector

Brisbane, August 12 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

Consul General of India in Brisbane, Neetu Bhagotia, met with Anne Nalder, CEO and Founder of the Small Business Association of Australia (SBAA), to discuss ways of strengthening India–Australia collaboration in entrepreneurship, innovation, and the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The talks centred on boosting trade and investment by fostering stronger business-to-business connections, building innovation-driven partnerships, and enabling small enterprises to access wider markets.

Both sides expressed optimism that closer cooperation in the MSME sector would create fresh opportunities for economic growth while deepening bilateral ties, in line with the shared goal of advancing sustainable and inclusive development.
