Consul General Kajari Biswas participated in the Australia-India Cables Dialogue, a strategic forum focused on enhancing submarine cable connectivity and digital infrastructure security across the Indo-Pacific.
Held in Perth, the event brought together leading experts from India and Australia to explore ways to strengthen undersea cable resilience and secure critical digital networks. The dialogue was chaired by Dr Samuel Bashfield of the Australia India Institute and jointly organised with the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, Forrest Research Foundation, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
The discussions centred on policy collaboration and supply chain security, with the aim of supporting regional stability through improved digital cooperation between India and Australia.
