India–Australia Women in Business Dialogue Forum to launch in Sydney on March 18

Sydney, February 26 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

A new platform aimed at strengthening cross-border collaboration among women entrepreneurs will be launched in Sydney on March 18, 2026, under the patronage of the Consulate General of India in Sydney.

Titled the India Australia Women in Business Dialogue Forum, the initiative is built around the core motto, “Lead, Connect, Grow, and Prosper.” The Forum seeks to provide a structured space for women business leaders from India and Australia to engage, collaborate and drive innovation across sectors.

Organisers say women entrepreneurs are playing an increasingly influential role in economic growth, innovation and bilateral trade between the two countries. As India–Australia ties expand across technology, advanced manufacturing, energy, robotics, education, professional services, sports, trade and investment, there is growing recognition of the need for stronger networks connecting women leaders across borders.

The Forum is designed to serve as a trusted and inclusive platform where women entrepreneurs can exchange ideas, share expertise and explore commercial partnerships. It aims to promote sustained engagement and create opportunities for mentorship, collaboration and business development in key growth sectors.

The inaugural session on March 18 will be held under the theme, “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: Women Leaders Catalysing India–Australia Cross-Border Growth.” The programme will feature a plenary address followed by panel discussions and roundtable conversations with prominent women entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

The launch marks a significant step in strengthening gender-inclusive economic cooperation between India and Australia. Organisers have expressed confidence that the Forum will become a dynamic space for dialogue and collaboration, fostering long-term partnerships and supporting women-led enterprises in both countries.

Women leaders and entrepreneurs from diverse sectors are expected to participate in the inaugural engagement, setting the tone for an ongoing platform dedicated to advancing cross-border growth and shared prosperity.
