MELBOURNE, AUGUST 26/INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK
Nauru President David Adeang met newly appointed Indian High Commissioner to Nauru Nagesh Singh in Melbourne on August 22, reaffirming the longstanding friendship and partnership between the two countries.
Singh was accompanied by Indian Consul General in Melbourne Anish Rajan. The Nauruan delegation included Minister Rennier Gadabu, High Commissioner Camilla Solomon and RonPhos Chairman Newman Rykers.
The meeting focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, with discussions covering key areas including mining, technology, health and education.
The engagement highlighted the scope for expanding cooperation between Australia and India’s Pacific partner Nauru across sectors of mutual interest.
