Indian coffee took centre stage at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) 2026, with the Coffees of India pavilion drawing attention from industry stakeholders and visitors alike.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Consul General Amarjeet Rajan along with Secretary of the Coffee Board, Kurma Rao M, in the presence of exhibitors and representatives from the coffee industry. The initiative highlighted India’s rich and diverse coffee heritage, offering a platform to promote its unique flavours and premium blends in the global market.
Held from March 26 to 28 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the expo brought together coffee producers, traders and enthusiasts from around the world. The Coffees of India pavilion provided visitors an opportunity to explore a variety of Indian coffee profiles, including distinct roasts and emerging trends shaping the sector.
Officials said participation in international platforms like MICE helps strengthen India’s position in the global coffee industry while fostering trade connections and business opportunities.
The event also underscored growing interest in Indian coffee among Australian consumers and industry players, further boosting prospects for bilateral trade in the sector.
