The National Gallery of Victoria came alive with the sights, sounds, and flavours of India
during the ‘Indian Community Day’ celebration. The event showcased India’s rich
cultural heritage through music, dance, and cuisine, drawing large multicultural
audiences from across Melbourne.
The celebration was organised in collaboration with the Consulate General of India,
Melbourne, and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Sydney.
Organisers expressed gratitude to the National Gallery of Victoria for hosting such a
vibrant platform that highlighted the beauty of India’s traditions while strengthening
cultural connections within Melbourne’s diverse community.
