Indian community members watch live streaming of consecration ceremony

Melbourne, January 23 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk) Consul General (CG) Dr Sushil Kumar joined a large number of members of the Indian community at Sri Durga Temple, Melbourne, on January 22, to witness the live streaming of consecration ceremony at Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Some of these members were attired in traditional costumes decked up with bows and arrows to mark the occasion. It was a festive occasion at Sri Durga Temple, Melbourne.

January 22, 2024 was a historic day for Indians in India and the Indian diaspora across the world to be watching the consecration of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which has now been open for the devotees to visit and perform their puja at the temple. This opportunity has come after years of struggle for the devotees of Lord Ram.
