The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in partnership with the Australia India Travel & Tourism Council (AITTC), organised a business seminar titled “Tourism in India” at the Consulate on May 20.
The seminar brought together Australian tour operators, airline representatives, travel industry professionals, media representatives, tourism experts and travel writers to discuss opportunities related to inbound tourism to India.
More than 70 participants from the tourism and allied sectors attended the programme, which focused on promoting India as a travel destination and strengthening tourism engagement between India and Australia.
Organisers said the seminar provided a platform for networking and discussions on tourism trends, travel opportunities and collaboration within the tourism industry.
