The Indian High Commission in Canberra recently welcomed 17 youth ambassadors from Cowra for a special Holi celebration, offering them an immersive experience of India’s iconic festival of colours. The event was attended by Cowra Council officials, including the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, General Manager, and a Councillor, who joined in the festivities and cultural exchange.
The young ambassadors enthusiastically participated in the Holi traditions, enjoying the vibrant display of colours, music, and dance. The celebration provided a joyful platform to strengthen cultural ties between India and Australia, promoting friendship and understanding between communities.
