Brisbane, June 1 (Indian Abroad Newsdesk)

The Kairali Brisbane Fusion Festival 2025 was held on May 4 at the Spanish Centre in Acacia Ridge, bringing together members of the wider community for a day of cultural celebration. Organised with the support of the Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ), the festival featured a vibrant lineup of music, dance, and food that reflected the multicultural fabric of Brisbane.

The event welcomed families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds, offering a platform for showcasing the diverse cultural traditions that make up the Indian and broader Australian communities. Attendees enjoyed live performances, cultural exhibitions, and culinary stalls that served a wide variety of flavours.

FICQ representatives praised the efforts of the organisers and volunteers, noting the importance of such events in strengthening intercultural understanding and social cohesion. The Fusion Festival continues to grow as a signature annual event for Queensland’s Indian community and its partners.
