The Western Australia Kannada Sangha celebrated the Kannada Shaale Annual Cultural Day 2026, with more than 250 parents, students, teachers, volunteers and guests attending the largest event in the school’s history.
According to the Sangha, the celebration showcased Kannada language, culture and heritage through a series of cultural performances presented by students.
The organisation said the event reflected the dedication of students, teachers, volunteers and families, whose efforts contributed to its success and reinforced the community’s commitment to preserving Kannada language and traditions.
The annual gathering also highlighted the growing participation of the Kannada community in Western Australia and the importance of cultural education for younger generations.
The Sangha thanked volunteers, participants and supporters for making the event a success and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Kannada language and culture through community initiatives.
