Commemorating Maharashtra Day in a unique manner, the Maharashtra Mandal Perth (MMP) held its first-ever business expo. The business expo was inaugurated by Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi. Diaspora businesses and entrepreneurs, including women entrepreneurs, from the local Maharashtrian community exhibited their products, such as traditional food, spices and sweets, sarees and apparels, jewellery, handmade paintings and portraits, Marathi theatre and Bollywood dances, engineering products, as well as ODOP brass products from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, ethnic wear from Odisha, ethnic Potli bags from Rajasthan, besides services like building construction and various loans.
