The Malayalee Association of Queensland (MAQ) was honoured to be part of the Diwali Celebration Reception hosted by the Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ). Representing MAQ at the event were President Neethu Bijor and Vice President Reshma Ratheesh.
The reception was attended by community leaders, government representatives and members of the Indian diaspora, marking a joyful celebration of light, unity and cultural pride. MAQ extended its thanks to FICQ for the warm invitation and the chance to connect with the Consulate General, as well as State and Federal Ministers. The evening beautifully showcased the strength of Queensland’s Indian community and its shared commitment to multicultural engagement.
