The countdown to the 12th International Day of Yoga officially began in Melbourne with the Consulate hosting a special yoga and wellness session aimed at promoting physical health, mindfulness and holistic living.
Held as part of the lead-up to the global celebrations next month, the session brought together yoga enthusiasts and community members who participated in stretching exercises, pranayama and guided meditation practices.
Organisers said the programme highlighted yoga’s enduring relevance in modern life and its role in fostering mental calmness, emotional balance and overall wellbeing.
