The Consulate General of India in Melbourne, together with the India Australia Diaspora Forum (IADF), successfully organized the Viksit Bharat Run, attracting enthusiastic participation from Neena Taylor MP, Lee Tarlamis MP, community leaders, friends of India, and members of the Indian diaspora. The event was held to support the vision of a Developed India by 2047.
Beyond promoting health and fitness, the run provided a vibrant platform to celebrate India’s cultural richness. Attendees explored displays of Ayurvedic products by AYUSH Cell Australia and enjoyed colorful performances reflecting India’s timeless traditions.
The Viksit Bharat Run highlighted the strong connection between the Indian diaspora and India’s developmental goals, while fostering a spirit of unity, wellness, and cultural pride among the participants.
