New Delhi/Bhopal, Sep 2 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has met BJP President Nitin Nabin and Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and C.R. Paatil in New Delhi to discuss issues related to investment, industrial growth, welfare schemes, water management and irrigation.
Chief Minister Yadav met Nabin on Tuesday at the party headquarters in New Delhi and briefed him on contemporary political issues and the progress of various public welfare schemes being implemented in Madhya Pradesh.
He also apprised the BJP Chief of innovations and initiatives undertaken by different departments of the state government to make administration more effective, transparent and citizen-centric.
The Chief Minister also met the Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and held detailed discussions on industrial development and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yadav highlighted the state’s strong investment potential, robust infrastructure and industry-friendly policies.
He said the state government is making concerted efforts to attract fresh investments and create large-scale employment opportunities for youth.
The discussions focused on strengthening Centre-state coordination to expand industries, boost exports and enhance the state’s overall economic potential.
“A more favourable environment for investment and industries is being created in Madhya Pradesh through the coordinated efforts of the Central and state governments,” CM Yadav said.
He also sought greater Central support to encourage new investments, promote startups and generate employment in the state.
In his meeting with the Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil, CM Yadav discussed water conservation, optimum utilisation of water resources and progress of various water projects in Madhya Pradesh.
The two leaders deliberated on water management, expansion of irrigation facilities and strengthening of irrigation infrastructure in the state.
CM Yadav expressed gratitude to the Centre for its continued support for development projects in the water sector.
“The development and conservation of water resources in Madhya Pradesh are gaining new momentum through the coordinated efforts of the Central and state governments,” the Chief Minister said.
The meetings are seen as part of the state government’s push to accelerate development through closer coordination with the Centre and the party organisation.
