Nalanda University opens admissions for Master’s programmes for 2026–27 academic year

 The Consulate General of India in Brisbane has announced that admissions are now open for the 2026–27 academic year Master’s programmes at Nalanda University, an Institution of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament and functioning under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

According to the announcement, the University offers postgraduate programmes aimed at developing strong conceptual understanding, applied skills and research capabilities. The courses are designed to prepare students to address global challenges across areas such as sustainability, peace studies, public policy, academia, research and industry.

The programmes are open to graduates from all academic backgrounds, reflecting the University’s interdisciplinary approach to higher education. The application deadline has been set for June 15, 2026, with the academic session scheduled to commence in the first week of August 2026.

Prospective students are required to submit their applications through the University’s official online portal, while additional information regarding courses and eligibility criteria is available on Nalanda University’s website. Officials said the initiative provides an opportunity for students, including members of the Indian diaspora, to pursue advanced studies in an internationally focused academic environment.
