Mumbai, Sep 16 (IANS) Advocate Nilesh Ojha, the lawyer representing Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian, has claimed that the evidence which the legal team will be handing over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), will be “similar to death nail” for those named in the FIR.
On Monday, the CBI registered an FIR in connection with the death of Disha, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, following an order of the Bombay High Court.
Speaking to IANS, Nilesh Ojha on Tuesday said: “The evidence we will submit tomorrow (Wednesday) along with the covering letter is against Aaditya Thackeray and the others. The CBI has even more evidence, but this evidence is like the ‘death nail’.”
He also noted: “This also includes something related to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.”
Moreover, the lawyer said: “80 per cent of our work in this case has already been done through the High Court order. The High Court order itself lists ten points that proves the police report to be incorrect and makes it clear that this is not a case of suicide, but of foul play.”
“The rest of the details were given by Disha’s father Satish Salian ji which is registered in the FIR. Additionally, it includes eyewitness testimony and the extra judicial confession of former Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze and several other things,” he added.
Earlier on Tuesday, Satish Salian said that he is “fully confident” about the CBI’s probe into his daughter’s death case and said that he will be happy “only when the accused are hanged”.
“I am at peace that the case has been registered, though I will be happy only when the accused are punished. Aaditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea, their bodyguards and others should be hanged,” he told IANS.
Reiterating his previous allegation that Mumbai’s mighty and privileged people conspired to cover-up the whole incident, Satish Salian said that he named former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh and Sachin Waze in the case as they were the ones who “shielded the others”.
