The Queensland Community Alliance Convention 2025 was held at the historic St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane, bringing together a diverse range of participants including NGOs, unions, community organisations, Settlement Services International, and multicultural leaders.
Among the attendees was community advocate and former St Margaret’s Anglican School student, who shared a personal reflection on returning to the cathedral—once a childhood venue for school Masses—to participate in such a meaningful initiative.
The convention provided a powerful platform for exploring pressing community issues through constructive, solution-driven discussions. Delegates collaboratively developed an action plan focused on creating real, lasting impact within Queensland’s communities.
Seventeen-year-old aspiring leader Tahseen also took part enthusiastically, representing the voice of young changemakers in multicultural Australia. Participants praised the event organisers for their thoughtful and engaging approach, which fostered both reflection and tangible outcomes.
